Then most appropriate would be Mercedes, Marie Rose or Irene I guess. Mercedes is my favorite, but others are good too, do maybe you can go harem route of 3.

to that trio i would also add basara as a good one, also with how the story is developing the mc tries to leave grid te opportunities so maybe grid x irene wont be changed, that being said when it comes to couples while i do have preferences imposing them on the author is kinda bad in my opinion cause it may cause variations in the story he has in mind and thats often not good lol
