how is it realistic if, from what the other reviews said, the mc is pathetically weaker than everyone every time. it'd only be realistic if the mc died like the weak genin he is and since he didnt, it's just masochistic

yup. i dropped it after less than 10 chapters. angst is not my cup of tea and from what others have said, it only gets worse in terms of that

I understand if you don’t want to read this story. But, to give you further context or the truth. Most of the bad reviews that this novel have are just people expecting op mc or a fast space. And if you didn’t know since the beginning even the author told us that this novel will not op mc, and to be truthful this novel is not even that slow pace. To the current arc that we are now since the beginning. It’s like we are watching his life, and being on an adventure with the main character. If in the end of the arc that we are now, if he doesn’t get a promotion than I will agree that this a slow pace novel. But, right now for me in my opinion this novel is just a right pace. The only thing that can be negative for you is that he only upload 3 chapters a week or to 9 to 12 days. I understand if you don’t want to read this novel because for you is slow pace, and you prefer to read novels more fast pace. But, is better to ignore most of the bad reviews that do not give constructive criticism. I really hope that this is not the reason that’s keeping you of this fantastic Naruto novel. Because in my opinion this novel is a hidden gem as a fan fic.

I tried to give it a reread but i maintain my stance. I've read several naruto fanfics since 2014. i know these types of fics very well. way too angsty for my liking.

Ok. No problem, I just wanted to know that if you were being influenced by reviewers, or that you didn’t want read this novels because of reasons that you had of your experience of Naruto fanfic. I hope that in the future you may give a chance if you decide to read again, because for me I don’t have the same amount of years of reading Naruto fanfics, but out of all the Naruto fanfics until now that I have read, this one for me is unique. it's realistic because the mc doesn't know Jack. he starts from 0 at point where everyone one else is at like 50. he isn't always worse than everyone it's methodical because the author takes his time making you understand how he goes from understandably weak to understandably strong. if you want a power fantasy this ain't it and that's not a slight. power fantasies are boring

missing out big time by judging the thing so early on, he still is somewhat a genin but is way stronger than your regular genin, even outclassing several of his teammates and batch classmates, and most of the other reviews are just butt-hurt he isn't a Minato level talent that can just seduce any lady in a micro second

this is not the first naruto fic to try to write a "realistic" story but it is garnering way more hatred than usual. i gave it a try and i can see why it gets hate. i dont mind weak protags but like i said, angst is not for me.
