It is the typical MC can fight Realms above his power, his growth is slow because his power is so vast it takes longer to cultivate it (and we get told this over and over).. Writing quality is good with just a few pronouns mix up. The 2nd level arcs just started and he left everyone from the first behind, so I don't know if he will in fact go back or if it will always be leave, build new harem, leave, build new..... I hope it isn't but never know.... My biggest gripe I put in World background as the Cultivation world for me is very lackluster. It is all Dao, Dao heart, Divine Sea, Spirit Sea, Soul power, Laws.. And that is how fights are written.. He use X law to block and break Y Law.. He buffed his Law with X Sea and sent a ray that broke their Y essence barrier etc.... I picture fights as two people standing apart from each other with a face like they are having a hard time passing bowel movement... Kind of like Mind Readers fighting each other.. There is rarely a weapon used, but the weapons just funnel the Law and Seas into some form of arc or power. The bad thing with this is the fights are fairly boring and take a lot of words to try and explain the Sea, Law, Art, etc... in every attack. I have basically started to Skim the fight scenes to get an idea of what happens and it has helped the getting bored while reading...

I can understand your points, but I don't get what you mean by the fights being two people standing face to face as if they mind readers? All fights clearly details that everyone still needs to move fast enough to react to attack or if they're weaker simply can't dodge at all. Most of the time, fights are settled in long ranges as that their laws are best at.

"Most of the time, fights are settled in long ranges as their laws are best at." The movement of the fights are pretty much zero. The movement comes between the 1st and second attack as MC is getting close for the killing blow to talk if they survived the first attack. I cant think of any fights were MC had to make a 4th move and he only does a 3rd move if he blocked the enemies first attack without attacking as well. But most times his block also destroys the enemies protection and his 2nd move is the killing blow. Most of the fights are explaining what an attack is made of, like he exploded his Heavenly sea laced with his yin yang bloodline laws and since nothing can stand to the yin yang laws it broke the enemies spirit sense shield. All of this while neither moved or raised a hand, hence the standing still staring at each other. Even the fight with weapons it is long range and sending laws, seas, bloodline laced in a sword arc. We dont even have description of what the arc looks like. Does the arc get bigger as it travels, how big is the arc, is it just a line.. The last fights with Kong and Lai where he actually stabbed them was shocking. When he is in a city all the attacks are just huge blasts of law, seas, bloodline, that it is described like 50% of the city population should be killed by the pressure sinve they aren't at a certain realm. I just cant find any uniqueness in the fights. I do like that they are generally short, as I hate fights that take 4 or more chapters to complete.

If the fights were good 4 chapters would be fine. I've read a few of those, not in this novel, where I was at the edge of my seat for like 5 chapters. The thing is, every chapter of a fight that long has to be available at once, can't be waiting for days to read it in its entirety.
