I feel quite angry, but I think it's due to my confusion. I am struggling to understand one of the two current systems that the MC possesses. While I love the Nen System, I hate the Force system. The rules seem nonsensical to some degree and make the MC weaker. This may be due to my ignorance, so if anyone could explain it to me, that would be great. I don't understand why the MC can't use basic Jedi powers like force push or pull. Moreover, I don't understand how there can be a perfect counter to every force attack in Nen. The fact that the MC has spent years studying the Force with such a broken ability as reading the past with a touch is bewildering. All he has to show for it is the ability to maybe, if he's lucky and the stars align, freeze someone weaker than him or slightly inconvenience someone stronger. It's confusing why he can lift tons and move people around with telekinesis but can't even lift a midget when he's fighting. Additionally, it's perplexing why he wasted his time developing a skill to mimic strength and speed with the Force just to turn around and change his mind, developing the same thing but with muscles. His balance perk has been less than useless so far, actually affecting him negatively. Now, the Force is picky and extremely docile, and he has to get hit three times to use it in combat. Not even Jedi get that treatment. How can this be called the "Force balance" instead of the "light side" of the Force?

Any chapters soon?

GnomeBob:All mostly true. The reason I didn't fully hash out the Force Power system is to give a reasonable explanation for why he will be returning to the Jedi Galaxy for the Clone Wars so he can master it completely. The problem is that the Force is not explained adequately in the Source Material, so I can only imply that the Force is what you make it. Honestly, most of the Nerfs are him being overly careful because he doesn't actually know what the limit is. He will figure it out at the end of the One Piece Arc and then go to the Jedi Galaxy to participate in the Clone Wars to build upon the Force later. Please remember, one of the main parts of this story is realism. If you got a power system that can drive you crazy, I think it is perfectly reasonable to throw up imaginary walls and lines not to cross to prevent you from going crazy. But those will be taken down later.

I think the force balance is an avenue for absurd late game strength. He has to give himself a bunch of nerfs to develope a relationship/trust with the force. once he has this he's allowed to use both jedi and sith powers while being buffed by the force. Also I wouldn't exactly call it light side, since force users on the light side are inherently meddlers whom act when they see injustice. Our MC doesnt have to do that. I think we'll see his force powers really blossom when the clone wars starts which will be when he's about 19. For now ig we just have to deal with the nerfs.

Is this a theory or something that has been said before? Right now, his force power is extremely pathetic. I actually think he would be stronger if he stopped using it and found another main power system. Just imagine wasting so much time studying the force only to show for it the ability to slow people down a bit, as long as they are not stronger than you. The only reason he is not the weakest member of the tabern is his skills as a swordsman. He has to go throught so many conditions and preparation just to use his "force powers" without immediate negative repercussions.

I don't know how far you are and I don't want to spoil things, but in more recent chapters he's been able to get away with using the force in ways he wants. the author states this is because his connection to the force is strengthening.

Gnome has applied us with the regular chapter. I remember back when Gnome was working on Mutant Gamer, there was multiple quick release for the few days and then a quite period where Gnome developed the story further. I think that exactly what’s happening here as One Piece lore is quite large and Gnome would want to refresh it. Anyways we can continue with the review and power stone and soon we will have the chapter!!

i guess he doesnt use force to be strong or fast is cuz its limited and isnt his purpose think about it from the earliesr chapters hk 47 always says jedis are easy to kill if you sever them from force and they neglect their bodies if mc just abused force without his body he might die in some sitituasions and he wants to eliminate that chance the other reason is its inefficent like he can only be fast as his connection to the force or strong but in recent chap he only uses force in his tendons and nen in his muscles this way his speed will be way more than only force there migh be other reasons like swordsmanship but you are right he should be able to frezzes literally anyone doesnt matter whic player it is in babylon with 18 wills using force statis he should veryy easily frezees carry destroy everyone but i guess he wanna be swordsman
