I really can't believe how you decided to Make a cultivation Mc that wants to be a hero and go around saving people which in my opinion just literally makes him the worst mc possible in a cultivation world if he didn't have plot armour he'd die the same day he tries to save someone

not hero, but enough to give few a better lives. like creating his own empire. He isn't naive and stupid enough to go around saving every single people, I establish early on that he has innate sense in who to trust.
