It looks good. Not sure. Recently, I saw another similar matriarch cultivator novel where women are treated more favorably than men and men can only do poetry/music. It didn't seem like harem either but how disgustingly they're treated also shows the reality on how women are treated(Probably) Maybe girls did starve to death just to wait for boys to finish their plate first?? I'm too lazy to go to my history and get the raws though

Brother's Price by Wen Spencer if it's not out of print (it might be, but the publisher refuses to relinquish the rights back to the author or so I've heard). It's not cultivation based but rather western (cowgirls and cannons).
