Review Detail of Anarook_tylde in With a Bunny in the Multiverse [Hiatus]

I don't hate harems, it's just they're generally not very well written, and seem to be a teenage boy's fantasy. Like always there is going to be exceptions but probably not usually to the stereotypical Harem fic and rarely do I find the male MC attractive or interesting as a character, especially in anime where they tend to have a lot of stock personality traits that I don't care for. So it bugs me to see every girl in the work suddenly lusting after him when I personally wouldn't. It bugs me even more when it's some new person I have zero investment in suddenly appearing that every girl suddenly starts lusting over. It's blatant wish fulfilment, and in some case, it's just outright misogynistic. In that situation, it's hard to identify with the protagonist. Plus the setup for harem fics usually being really flimsy, the author being unable to portrya a relationship realistically, and multiple relationships at the same time even less.
