He also got his hands on a myriad of advanced technologies, superconducting materials, super batteries and artificial intelligence" ----------------- Grand Unified Theory is a theory that is required in order for the Big Bang to have happened to create the universe, and is something that someone can gain a preliminary understanding of with a quick google search and a detailed understanding with some types of physics degrees ------------------- Wave-particle duality is something that is covered in most high-school chemistry classes. ------------------- Superconductors have existed for a long time at cold temperatures, and about 2 years ago, superconductors that functioned as such at room temperatures were successfully researched. ------------------- I'm guessing by super battery they mean a really good new type of battery; battery research is constantly ongoing and is heavily invested in with constant breakthroughs -------------------------------------- Whether AI currently exists or not depends on your own definition. If by AI one is referring to a true "human" consciousness created through code, we are far, far away from that. Centuries away. We don't even understand everything about the human brain yet, much less be able to replicate it. Contrarily, if by AI you mean advanced machine learning programs which are able to constantly evolve and hold effective meaningful conversations with people and predict emotions, then they already exist. ------------------------------- Overall, none of these are future technologies. They aren't even that advanced; the vast majority of these are easily accessible on any college/research campus and are generally accessible to the public depending on the employer/connections. The author, uneducated as he is, simply chose a bunch of terms that he thought sounded fancy and high-tech and threw them together without any regard for his own lack of knowledge of the world.
