Review Detail of RaAvim in Spirit Realm Walker

This novel is very interesting in its mixture of supernatural and psychic power as well as street detective action. It’s true that it has as common trope of beautiful women following the MC and wanting his attention, jealous of the others,etc., but the MC reacts like a fairly normal upright young adult. He doesn’t take advantage and it also unsure and clueless about how to deal with intimate relationships due to his family history. He does have good social skills and is not a typical outcast/loner character type. The translation is fairly good, with the main issue being translating proper names. Sometimes they are translated into the meaning, and sometimes they are left in Chinese. If you are unfamiliar with Chinese language, you may think that the author added another character. ***Slight spoiler below about character development *** In the beginning of the story, his relationship with his aunt is unclear and unless the author is intentionally trying to confuse the reader about what kind of games they play, it should be rewritten. It adds a level of lechery that is undeserved in the early MC descriptions. Later in the story it is explained better and the explanation removes part of the character description that did not fit with the overall MC profile. Most of the supporting characters have distinct personalities and descriptions. While the MC is overpowered, there are explanations and as the story progresses he does rely on others more. I have read farther in the story than is published here, but since English is my 1st language and my Chinese isn’t very good, I really hope this translation and publishing effort continues here.
