Just happy that it sounds like the ex will not be the main love interest. No matter how much remorse he has, the ex sounds like scum. The potential male lead seems much more respectful and kind, though that may change - it has only been 25 chapter so far.

She's nice, but she's not my love, and thought he was saying FL wasn't his love. He was actually saying, sure that other girl is nice, but she isn't my love, referring to the female lead. Fake best friend made her think he meant he didn't love FL. It was waaay to filled with misunderstandings for me.
