at first it was good..cruel cultivation world..dark tone..with cautious decessive ruthless mc...then it went downhill when the Mr Er gen chose to turn the mc into a loyal dog for human cause..brotherhood and doing what is right..sacrifice and being in the limelight as a vertious protagonist...which never make sense in such world...I dropped this novel as such mc is not my cup of tea..

Bro, you probably didn't understand anything :). This is preparation for an extremely strong plot twist. And it also has to do with what God is looking for. This novel literally after the Red Mother is built on plot twists. In 964, we are shown the real Xu Qing, before that we looked as if from the face of the gods who predict Xu Qing's actions, as if behind a doll, which Xu Qing is. It's a bit like the words of the son of the red mother, isn't it? A broken doll, due to the action of God the father or pur... plot twist. You never wondered why Xu Qing's brother is so kind or why he can use God's sight :)?
