The author changes the characters' personalities, ex: Amelia blushes just by calling her mell so much for the strict head of the DMLE. It just annoys me.

LIKESo? hate it when people explain bad logic by saying it's just a fanfic, does that word supposed to make all wrongs right?
ArtoriaPendragon_:…it’s a fanfic
Bro, the whole point in fanfics is making something unique and changing things. Apart of that change is changing the characters, and their personalities. You cannot seriously expect a fanfic writer to be able to copy the personalities of characters made by professional and world renowned writers.

I don't agree, the thing about fanfic is if you want to write a good one you have to understand the base of that world, its building structure, and from it you start making another story but the base is the same, thats what makes writing fanfics challenging. now change in personality makes sense after events, or small details is understandable. but for a 40-year-old woman who is very experienced and has honed her control over her emotions throughout the years to change this much right off the bat is just poor thinking. a good fanfic is when the author has made the effort and inserted him/herself into the characters in the story, and started thinking about their actions.
