Based on your rating I assume that you haven’t read the story and just left a bad review because you didn’t like the book’s genre/trope. If you have an issue with something as simple as a genre/trope and it’s large enough for you to want to leave a bad rating. With that in mind, I want to present an idea to you. What about rating a book on its story and not just a single thing in it you dislike? If you don’t like a certain trope to the point that you’d rather drop the book regardless of the actual story, then you can always just quietly drop the book. If what you’re going to review isn’t the book but instead your own taste (it is completely alright to not like gender bender stories, got nothing against you there), then maybe leaving a review isn’t the best course of action, especially on smaller stories with very few reviews. Think about it this way (I will use this story as an example), this story has two reviews, one of which is one based on the person’s thoughts on the story and the other is based on your dislike for a trope. This means that you disliking a trope in the story will provide half of the rating that anyone looking to read the story will see, unless they go down and actually read the reviews.

Correction, it has four reviews, my bad. Regardless, your dislike of a trope (which isn’t even much of a spoiler) has a pretty big influence on what’s supposed to be a rating on the actual book (and probably update frequency as well, been a while since I left a review)

It's impossible for me to read about a man willing to become a female just because.

Then don’t. There’s no one forcing you to read the story, but there’s no point in leaving a review if you aren’t gonna review the actual story. Have a good day.
