What an interesting question indeed. I could reveal the entire story for you right here and now, but sadly, I'm afraid that many others read the comments too. As such, do allow me to answer your question in a way which may seem like 'Beating around the bush'. Nothing unnecessary will happen in the tale ahead, but I, as author, am brave enough to take necessary steps whenever needed, even if it may mean that I'll make the readers unhappy for a few fleeting moments. In your words, it's not funny if no one dies, but then again, it's not funny if people keep on dying, since the impact will be lost. I am aware that the story is a slow burn, but, heartily hope that you do continue reading Nox's tale, and decide for yourself if it is worthy of your magnanimous eyes, or not. Thank you.

Klein_MorettiGod:author, one question: will you kill important characters throughout the novel? Whether they are friends of Nox or enemies, I hope so, because for me that is an important point in a novel, it is not funny if no one dies and the characters do not receive their proper development, this novel has a lot of potential. . , but the fact that the mc is so kind and caring and prioritizes his companions in a new world with unknown dangers is a bit... well, we'll see how he does, he should put himself first and not take risks for them. It's a very good novel so far, but if the MC will stay like this throughout, let me know so I can see if I should drop it or not.

like your point of view, don't kill characters for the sake of killing, there must be justifications for why they died. Obviously I will continue reading this story, I like it a lot.

Thank you for reading my unworthy work. Truly, your comments have invigorated my passion for writing once again.
