This is the author's shameless review! The first 10 chapters will be setting up the background for the story so that there are no plot holes, so try to stick with the story until after the first 10 chapters before dropping. Well actually, I'm going to be holding a poll over that in the near future, cause originally, the MC was going to have two wives, but now I'm not sure anymore after asking like all my friends who either said it was better to have a full harem, or to go the vanilla route.

I've made an executive decision to make it a vanilla romance, so now, the poll will only be on who he eventually ends up with.

So, I'm thinking, at first, he and a girl get together for the academy arc. When the girl accidentally kills someone close to him, he thinks she did it on purpose, so as revenge, he does something really bad. That's the end of the academy arc. Then, some things happen, I really can't reveal anything cause it'll just be spoilers... Well, anyways, after a while, he falls in love with the person that cured his depression, and it's mutual. So, this will be the couple for the remainder of the book. Don't know if this explanation was helpful or not...

So then what I get from that is that the first girl will die shortly after or before he gets to know that she didn't mean to do it . Otherwise that he doesn't get together with the first is just a bad writing by you the author. I haven't actually read the novel to really understand their relationship but because you wrote the novel with the premise that he would get togheter with both in the beginning I assume that they had a really good relationship. I don't know if I guessed right but if I did then I should probably delete this comment so that it doesn't spoil other people that read it. Not that I even will know that I guessed right unless you told me that so I probably won't delete this comment.

No, no, no, I think you misunderstood. He happily gets with one girl. She kills someone close to him. They basically break up because of it. For the second girl, he only meets the second girl later, and then they fall in love, and he stays with the second girl for the rest of the book. They never interlap.
