Not a fan of drawing out mc achieving his short term goal. In other words, stuffing as my side quests as you can increasing chapter count to stop him from achieving his goal which isn't a major goal to begin with. This sort of goal shouldve been achieved in 100 hundred chapters and then another goal shouldve been put forth and so on with the major goal arising later on mid way through the story or something. we are at 140 chapters and still haven't seen the behind of 'his' girl. This reminds me of dragon ball z where one fight takes 10 plus episodes to finish. simply put not a fan of this style and I believe my way would be much better. Giving the reader as much gratification as possible through achieving these small goals is what makes these sort of stories enjoyable to read in the first place. food for thought for your next novel.
