This book has many things that I enjoy in a fantasy romance novel. Lena is a young woman with a strong personality. She doesn’t give up and can see the positive sides to difficult situations. The world's background is described bit by bit, one interesting fact after another, and is easy to follow. It all made me curious to find out more. What will happen next? We will have to read on and find out!

I liked how she enjoyed the food and the castle instead of giving in to despair and depression because of the marriage that she had never wanted in the first place. Alexandro is a very mysterious and smart man that cares about his wife from the very beginning of the book. That made me like the character from the very start!
