This author seems to have some very loyal and dedicated readers compared to other authors🤣 So here’s a more neutral perspective lol: You’ve to be into vampires. I’ve never read a book from this author that wasn’t about vampires. Vampires seem to be her thing. She really does storytelling so so well. It’s detailed and intriguing. The plot is great, the characters are great and the twists and turns. She does a really, really solid build up - both in regards to the characters and the world - which for my personal preference can get a bit much. But, that’s me - I get bored very easily if it strays away too much or too long from the leads. I’ve also experienced once that one of the leads was a clear case of a psychopath - so if you’re not into that, be aware of it can happen, I guess? I didn’t like it. Not in a “celebrated” lol male lead. I’m definitely looking forward to this one because of the mermaids. Happy reading everybody.
