I have read 30 chapters so far. This novel gave me the feeling that I lived through all the events myself. The writing style is fascinating! The grammar is perfect. The world-building is well thought through to the tiniest of details. I could instantly imagine the atmosphere when a character walked into a house or room. The sounds, the scents, the tastes. Everything seemed so natural I could easily understand the characters' feelings, actions, and thoughts. The romantic side of the story is slow-paced. It doesn't feel forced and keeps me waiting for new chapters. Each character in this story is unique. The vivid descriptions made me remember every maid and every servant. The best part is the action. There are no boring scenes in this book since something is always happening. I can’t wait to see what happens next!

Thank you so so much for your thorough review and feedback! It means a lot to me! How sweet of you <3 Ahaha, I get a lot of feedback about Dillon and Arellia's first meeting. I believe that is the only lighthearted moment in the story so far. But, don't worry there will be more! The romance is very very slow at the start but it is all about the journey as romance isn't the main genre of this book. Thank you for sticking with me so far and I hope you enjoy the rest of the story!

One of my favorite scenes is when Arellia and Dillon meet for the first time, drinking wine on the wooden bench. It was magical! My other favorite scene is when Dillon enters the house with the green door. I couldn’t guess what would happen next. And that feeling stayed with me paragraph after paragraph.
