Authors can not appease everyone, and no need to try to do so. Just go one step at a time. There will be an improvement. even if you drop this one, you can take your mistake made and go further (not saying to drop this though lol) It would help if you kept all your old drafts in Google Drive or something to pick them apart, take what you like and change what you do not.
