It can be both negative and positive. If there are people who likes something for some quality then there are people who dislike the same thing for some same or different quality and you are saying that the person who dislikes it should not give their thoughts as it is negative.
do you know why people would rather be with the antagonist than the protagonist when being realistic, "a villain would end the world for his loved ones while a hero will sacrifice them for the world or how they like to call it - the greater good", without their stupid plot armor or forced plot they would have already suffered along time ago.
