Very generic but in a bad way. I don't like beastmasters who treat their pets as a tool. MC basically call his bird stupid repeatedly. And I don't see any interaction of MC with his pet other than training and insulting.

In Chinese culture, to scold is to love and to beat is to care/nurture. So he really loves his bird. Well, actually, [SPOILER ALERT] he really does love his bird - . . . . . in one of his real life simulations where he had a pet harem, he purposely shooed away Little Nine when he knew only he and his wife (in the simulation) were going to die.
