Review at chapter 125 Its alright, the Mc mostly just gives up trying to use the emulator himself and finds “tools” to give him rewards. He Is given some different varieties with different value as rewards but usually (most of the time) he would choose to upgrade his cultivation. In this world cultivating is extremely hard and takes a long time. So the old monsters a suppose to be actual monsters in terms of power. Fighting the next level with a lower grade is rather difficult and the Mc can barely do it. It’s not even to the point where it’s an entire real just 1 level or so. Overall, you watch the story through the eyes of his tools as they make different simulations with different templates, similar to the novel “Fantasy Simulator”. Not going to lie it can get frustrating in where the Mc doesn’t really do much in using his other skills but to be fair only just a couple of days has passed since the start and the story up to this point (chpt 125) does foreshadow major things are about to go down both in the ”real world” and the simulated world. Give it a try 🤷🏻♂️

Not really insulting except pets are human in this one. The basic premise is the same, MC is nothing without the supports who are simulating (like the pets in Pet simulator). But there being no real life simulations atleast till the point I read. And also I gave up on pet simulator, the synopsis was completely baiting me with angewomen and whatnot but reality of just cliched final forms gave me a harsh slap. Not that the story is bad jsut that all expectations went down the drain.

The parallel become much bigger the more you read. Both MCs use their “pets” or “tools” to keep them alive. I would admit that the “goddess sumulator” has it rather less complex but much more fleshed out while the pet simulator is much more complex but vague in its abilities. In pet sim there’s two types of simulations one for realism and another fiction world. One is for the pets to get stronger another is for the MC. While “Goddess sim” is much straight forward in where the fictional world gives rewards to both parties albeit reduced rewards for the “tools”. With pet simulator there was a part where the mc used a realism sim and one of his pets become human. All of this was hinted at but not strictly stated. So it is possible for there to be cat waifus or stuff. I would say the pets are a lot more heart warming in a sense that the Mc has to have a rather strong connection with them first in order for them to even become his pets. It makes the story more centered on his relationships with his pets.
