I read this novel on mtl before didn't finish it yet, it is harem , cultivation novel. it starts as a business as the mc uses his farm space to make money, later on the farm space evolved or unlocked some features . the novel has some elements of racism but not many and show the dark side of the ppl sometimes.

I can totally understand what you mean. I have read a lot of these translated novels, and many of them were dropped, because of the same issue. And, now that I remember again, when this novel quality went downhill, there were instances of racist( or anti-some nation) remarks, like mexico as corrupt and crime everywhere and USA run by some money lord and them controlling gangs and iitalian mafias and basically every hypocrisy, these novels have, you will find it. So, my suggestion, you can read for first few hundred chapters, but when you feel the quality going down (storyline got distracted, genre changed and hypocrisy and all got a lot, racism was not much there btw), just stop. Because it will leave a very bad taste. I mean, i am curious of the plot (which btw changed genre) but didn't have the courage to go back and read that. It was sometimes so frustrating, like what the hell is author smoking? Exaggerating things are good, but human behaviour and emotions (feelings) can't be exaggerated. And this is my problem in these novels.

I chose not reading books with racism not because I can’t stand reading those kind, but because I’ve read a lot of exaggerated and overplayed chapters full of ’racism’ here. I’m talking about a lot of books here with different genres that I’ve read. Writing chapters addressing some issues like ‘racism’ is cool. Or just simply bringing awareness to readers was good. The only issue is when the it became overwhelmingly exaggerated, generalized and extremely insulting. Even if the author has a particular targeted audience he/she can still choose to write respectfully and not generalized everyone in that regards. Sadly, I’ve read to many stories here that goes through that route. The authors might think they’re being patriotic by writing those stuff, but they are not. There is always a thin line between patriotism and racism. Former is cool but latter is nothing but plain rude. Btw, someone had said that the author handled the ‘racism’ issue well so I’ve put this book back on my library. Though, I haven’t read this book yet, but I plan to give this book a chance because of what that person said. I just don’t have the time yet. I haven’t finished a lot of books on my current reads. Hopefully I won’t be disappointed when that time comes I read to that part in the story. Anyway, thanks for the added info. [img=recommend][img=recommend][img=recommend]
there was few chapters about Japanese intelligence agents having a mission in China. the mc fights them and the mc old unit lose some soldiers . the racism is only towards the soldiers/agents i have never seen it against normal civilians as far as I remember .

I loved that novel unfortunately after few thousand chapters i dropped it . however it is a bit different as here there is no game elements and it is in a modern world

there is racisim against chinese people in USA when he travels to usa to sell these expensive fruit. But it's racisim towards the protagonist.

I see… thanks for clearing that up. I’m really sick and tired with the racism going on in novels that came from their very own mc. It’s sickening how authors normalized it in their novels. Btw, Can you please tell me how did the mc handled the racism? If it’s not racism to racism then, this book might be worth a shot. At least, mc and authors that handled such topic with class are worthy of respect. 🤔🧐🤗
