The story is pretty interesting overall, but the mc turning into a tyrant after he killed hundreds of thousands of people is incomprehensible. And he wasn't really wearing a hypocritical mask before, that part just feels forced tbh, just to make the mc being more ruthless make sense. I would have preferred if he remained in his pirate hunter mentality but with a more domineering attitude instead of turning into a psychopath. You don't need to turn into a mass murderer to be a strong person, this just goes to show how immature the authors mindset is. Anyway that aside, overall its a good read where mc isn't too overpowered but he is strong enough with a combination of reasonable talent combinations, similar to Bigmoms physique but not the same and a more reasonable power, Redfields observation haki is good since in the end its actually an auxiliary power so it doesn't affect power levelling much, swordsmanship is developed decently since there are actually a lot of swordsmen, and the thing that prevents them from reaching the top is talent and physique where mc reaches the physique requirements earlier due to his bigmom type talent. His conquerors is just mutated to have murderous intent which is also not overpowered. His fruit development route is honestly more sensible than shiki since tbh shiki was nerfed af and would have been a bigger threat than whitehead if he had more imagination, since what limits fruit development is imagination, especially for paramecia as can be seen with Kuma who can reach the top with paws but the other people wasted it.
