Unlikeable, cringy, nationalistic fantasy. There's nothing good about this. A pointless discipleship novel set in a somewhat modern world (a couple decades ago I think). Honestly Chinese nationalism is so disgusting, you won't see a sane man from any other country write anything like this. It's technically wish fulfilment but the wish fulfilment of some deranged chinese dude. If I transmigrated into this protagonist I'd just end myself on the spot, it's that bad. I don't know what words I should use to describe this worthless abomination, no novel has ever left me this speechless. I feel like the score I'm giving this is too high since I've given novels that are 100x better the same score, I'd give it a negative number if I could. 0/5

Oh and just incase anyone thinks I'm being too harsh on this novel, do note that I have read bad nationalistic novels before (I've read a few hundred chapters of Zero To Hero In The Martial Arts Library for example), I'm as tolerant as I can reasonably get. Just reading the bit where Musk, Bezos and Hastings willingly lose billions on China because of our epic Chinese protagonist was just so obnoxious, I threw up in my mouth a little bit.
I have read a few and liked some but strongly disliked the majority. Author's POV for example is good but apart from a few rare exceptions like it, everything else I've tried (popular ones of course) has either been blatantly plagiarised, too inappropriate or just drop in quality real quick. The vast majority of originals have bad grammar, the popular ones are no exception. I passionately hate Chinese censorship but making novels less useless inappropriate is the one thing they got going for them. My Vampire System for example is crazy popular but repulsively bad. I'll try Shadow Slave and Supremacy Games since you recommend them but I'm still going to steer clear of originals. Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough is crazy blatant plagiarism btw, my first ever review was actually on it and I'm still salty about the author removing my review of it. aigotcha:I’ve seen you quite a few times and noticed you only review TLed novels, try some originals! There’s a lot of garbage there, but there’s also some pure gold, e.g supremacy games and shadow slave(although for this the recent arcs have slightly dropped down in quality, it’s still an amazing read)
I didn’t know about the Cultivating Disciples to breakthrough thing, but it’s well-aware that MVS is only good for novel newbies, and the author deletes any criticism under 4 stars, and replies to it with something snarky. If you want another good novel to read, try Lightning is The Only Way. Warning for that, however, the MC is an edgy kid at first, but he actually has character development and becomes a lot better and more mellowed out.

This person still has there review up, so maybe Webnovel just ghostbanned your review or somthing, by the way I’m curious about what cultvating Disiples to breakthrough is copying? Is it Master of untold Daos like Extrarice said? which isn’t in English and I can’t confirm nor deny it’s authenticity.

The "Webnovel original" Cultivating Disciples To Breakthrough is plagiarised. Theres a Chinese novel called “I! Accept Disciples And Become Stronger!”. It is translated and you can even find in Novel Updates. This is plagiarism. Not inspiration, this is a carbon copy. This guy just paraphrased and changed the names of the characters from it. Go compare chapter 1 of both novels, the scammer actually adds bad filler later on but still follows the main story he's shamelessly stealing. It's not copying Master Of Untold Daos. He paraphrases a bit but the plot is a literal copy paste and the names are also just changed slightly (for example Profound Sword Sect -> Flying Sword Sect, Xuan Yi -> Xuan Hao etc).

I disagree with you, I don't think Accept Disciples is worse in writing but they that's arguable. The plot in Accept Disciples is hands down way better and more enjoyable even though that got ripped off too, literally everything has been copied down, PurpleSprings just adds a bunch of filler and inflates things. The best parts about Cultivating Disciples To Breakthrough are stolen from Accept Disciples and that is a fact. Read the rest of Accept Disciples, you'll like it more, not even close imo since I got bored enough to drop Cultivating Disciples To Breakthrough but I'd still keep up with Accept Disciples if I had the time.
