I hate this author. For the simple reason that he has ruined all other novels for me. His works are so good I can never be satisfied by anything else. Sure the explanations are long but I would rather that than no explanations at all. It shows and attaches us to the characters as well. Shang is the most machine like protagonist I have ever seen. Current chapter, him going into the isolation barriers and literally staring at death just for a minuscule increase in power is insnae. Eventhough he doesn’t want to.
