The story in general is okay. However, the transmigration and revenge is a overused in Chinese Novels, so is the use of system and external magical help. But the setting being in 1980s and having that vintage feel is quite refreshing. World background is made quite believable and portrayed in a simple but beautiful manner. Character are not very descriptive. Their personalities are not shown yet. There has hardly been any exchange between the characters. So, even though there are several characters, their personalities is very clear and seems quite 2-dimensional. What I really have issue with is the narrative style. It is less of story telling and more of describing an incident. The progression of the story is very incoherent and the characters are being introduced suddenly as if it was an after thought. The scenarios are very jumbled and not clear. It is not understandable as to when and why the situation is occuring. Overall, the story is fine but the narrative style has to be better. The characters need to be more refined!
