Why are you judging and wildly guessing the future plot baselessly and even giving it 3 stars based on that. I've read the raws and there's character and emotional development in mc's feeling towards real and virtual girlfriend. And it doesn't drag long, the real girlfriend decides to reveal her identity in the early part of the story. And this is more like a slice of life story of the mc than a romance and action novel, it is also not system focused, system role becomes less after this academy arc. This novel is still ongoing only 200+ chapters, and so far i really like it.

And also he'll only be a teacher and power up by teaching in the academy arc which is short, after this teaching method is rarely used, System is a lot more than this. This novel is about MC's life and system only occasionally appears.

200 chapters in and I agree with your point on slice of life. it's one of the things I like about this novel, but the teaching system feels so underwhelming and not fleshed out enough. the more chapters in the more convoluted the plot gets. it feels like it's filled to the brim with different premises vying for the spotlight. once the immortal religion chapters start rolling in, girlfriend shenanigans takes a huge backseat and the teaching to get more powerful morphs into something to suit later premise. Also, I know these novels run long, but if the author can't keep their roadmap straight early on, how can you ask someone to keep pushing through to maybe get to something they may or may not enjoy.

oh, also mc is a rude twerp. He is pretty irredeemable for what seems like a gag or just general character interactions. I like the gags and writing that plays on his inabilty to realize what's going on around him, but it is what is.
