Disappointing. forced plots. no logic. straight into cultivation none sense. Not even half of the first 20 chapter is actually about the Inn. Mc is supposed to be smart but behaves rather stupid.

LIKEIt never did say he was supposed to be smart though? Also whilst it does have its forced plot here and there, its not that bad as it serves a purpose, be it creating events or interactions. In regards to the "cultivation nonsense", that is true nonsense, as the author clearly expands the typical cultivation system in his/her own way with 'logic'. It seems this is not your novel and what you require my friend, is a sci fi novel full of great science fiction logic (a true wonder of bs). As all cultivation novels are under the fantasy genre which is usually filled with bs logic.
That's the definition of forced plot. If the plot doesn't follow the inner congruence of the novel, be it because of plot armor, plot convenience or just plotholes, then the plot is forced. And yeah, forced plot is awful 99 times out of 100

Ah.... It's one of those readers who mistook "Fantasy" as "Science Fiction"... That's common tho... That's just a sign of new readers who never divulge themselves in the "Fantasy" genre. Soon he'll realize bending 'logic' is the essence of "fantasy". And the only string of "Logic" that stands in the novel is fully defined by the Author. Just because 1+1 = 2 is a common sense... that might not be the case inside a "fantasy" novel. U'll get used to it.
