Around chapter 100 and it's amazing so far, I only have a few issues that I feel detract from the quality: MC gets a class at 18, tells us how excited he is and how this has been his dream but we soon learn he knows nothing about the world, classes, skills or anything aside from his previous job. I get that it's a small town and his father isn't in the picture but you would think at 18 with that amount of interest he would attempt to satisfy his curiosity or ask some questions, maybe his customers at the very least. I can't really believe he was excited when he knows nothing about anything, MC is way too naive even for a middle of nowhere kid. After MC gets his class, he questions it out loud once and literally never proceeds to question it again. I get he's excited to have a class and that he may not know where to begin but he doesn't even attempt to find out and the idea of how he has a class doesn't cross his mind at all...he doesn't even think about it long enough to even realize he would have no idea where to begin... We are seeing character growth for MC, slowly but surely so that's something The only other thing is that some chapters are almost just useless grinding, don't get me wrong, I can appreciate grinding chapters but it seems a bit excessive with some mediocre fights, status screens and not much happening for 2 chapters a time Again, great novel, just some issues with MC, it would be more believable if he was 11 or 12.

I understand completely, this is an amazing novel you've made, regardless. You already have me hooked. If anything, because we don't know much about his past or about the laws of the world at this point, you could easily say it's not allowed to be talked about with classless people or maybe that used to be an old law but news doesn't get around too often to the outskirts which is why his town didn't reach it...but then there's the issue of the GM (but maybe he didn't really care to enlighten people and no one asked him anyways), you could still patch it all up. You could also casually mention in a future chapter where MC is doing some retrospection and how he realized (but didn't tell us) he wouldn't know where to begin looking for clues and we know with his personality how go with the flow this guy is. There's also the route of his dad told him not look into it but you would think a kid that was so excited wouldn't listen anyways and he's not even close to his dad so that one is a bit ...loose. There's also the option of saying the old GM thought it best to not tell the residents of the town anything about classes, etc so they would be a blank slate for the guild to train, have no bad ideas, habits and they would be reliant on the guild so the guild would benefit or something like that. Maybe that old GM thought no one in the town would amount to anything and he knew that on the outskirts no one would care about his decisions or oppose them.

Aero182:Awesome review, I didn't even consider that, I guess I was focused on other things. Thanks for saying something. Sorry about the 'grinding' chapters; It's my first book and I never did much writing before at all - when I first started writing I thought I had to include every small detail, but I have since learnt to leave out much of the background stuff. I've since started to go back and edit chapters, and I'm slowly working my way through the book :)
