Tell me, Why do people have problem with MC killing people that have no use? They tell that unnecessary evil is bad. So What ? The story of those 'Heroes' you read have unnecessary good in them, I don't see you complaining to them. TELL ME ONE REASON WHY UNNECESSARY EVIL IS BAD IF YOU HAVE THE POWER TO DO SO WITHOUT ANY CONSEQUENCES?
