First volume is just chef kiss, the premise the world system, mc's pathetic background and his very cynical and downright self deprecating outlook on life matches very well with the sombre and gory world. But it's the monumental blunder of transitioning to Vol.2 that brought it down from its ascend to my pedestal of masterpieces. Horrible timing for timeskip, you've left to your own measures to piece together what has transpired, one or two chapters of cheesing it is acceptable but even after five chapters in i feel i jumped into a totally different novel. So far I've been let down by the Vol.2, I'll update once/if i happen to complete it and see if the strange timeskip was worth it or was a stupid gimmick. This is more of a cautionary remark to any potential readers than a review. If you liked the first few chapters then you most probably will struggle to cross even one chapter after chapter 96.
