This novel has some of the best plot development and worldbuilding I’ve seen on this app. The wordbuilding in this novel for being the best I’ve seen on this app isn’t even the thing I like most about this story. Guilty has made a protagonist in Sunny that is simultaneously hilarious and the emotional core of the novel. If you are on the fence about reading this, please give the novel a chance.

LIKEReally? I'ved been reading reviews about his personality. Unfortunately many are comments months ago. I am at 240th chapter and tbh, I am a bit sick with Sunny's dog personality with Nephis. It's always Nehpis this, Nephis that. And the girl herself isn't THAT great to read about. she does have a good setup written for her. But her personality imo is BLAND. So my questions are - how many chapters have you read? -If it's 700+ chapters, does Sunny's character change to make him less/not susceptible to be taken advantage of? Especially his mind. Does he develop? Or is he still Nephis' bitch? Sorry for the wording, but I'm just a bit deisappointed from from I have read about the reviews right now... I really thought this was a really good story all around. And it kind of is. Except the MC himself who is such a dissapointment! His character of a street-mart and hardened individual (especially more so after his first dream/trial at the black mountain) is not coherent at all from what I've been reading after that (vol 2).
Shreyas_Joshi:Honestly, he does get manipulated and he isn’t the strongest person immediately. But I think the difference between him and a lot of MCs is that he learns from his losses and even though it can take a second he does grow stronger as a character from his mistakes. Also it never feels like he gets manipulated for no reason, it all serves the plot very nicely.

Surnam:I heard lot of people don't like it because MC is a complete pushover and is always manipulated by others. How much of this is true?
