Review Detail of AidsOnFire in Parallel Memory

I read the first sentence and it ruined the novel for me, not sure if it gets better but I have never seen a first person novel become a good novel. I couldn't read past the first chapter because it just wasn't interesting... felt like I was reading a diary instead of a novel
