I agree with you but i didn't choose harry potter world because it was powerful but it has the best potential to reach a new height when combine with other world.

I will also point out Harry Potter world magic excels alot in utility magic and alot of it the main issue with why Harry Potter world is so weak is majority of it seems underutilized or even understood plus jk didn't really flesh out the magic system and made 99 % of the magicals idiots

My opinion is the Harry Potter verse should be an early stop for any multiverse traveling fanfic. I know it isn't the most popular with people who haven't read it but the utility of magic is just too useful to skip it. From repairing things to teleporting, summon objects to perception inhibitors for non magicals, Transfiguring objects to various potions with special abilities. Also, it's an early place to gain training for the mind, both attack and defense. Even the unforgivable curses are all extremely useful for the not so nice protagonist. Mind control, Endless excruciating pain and swift death with no real cause. Magic is one of the main weaknesses for most modern day super humans and they rarely expect it.
