Redo of Healer has a novel all I saw was an interesting ”Anime”

You clearly weren't paying attention to the source material. I'm up to date with the manga but I watched the first episode of the anime just to make sure it wasn't different (and it wasn't). In literally the first instance we are shown of the Healer's powers he shows off 4 different abilities. You mentioned his main ability Recovery (his normal heal) and his ability acquired by working hard Drug Resistance (which the mc in this obviously wouldn't have as keyaru specifically says it's a new power that he got from being drugged so much, plus he didn't keep it when going back in time either) but somehow you failed to notice Upgrade (the ability to change the mind and body of anyone he touches to a certain extent) and Corruption (the ability to disintegrate living things he touches, though this power required conditions to be unlocked) despite the fact that in the SAME SCENE that Drug Resistance is established Keyaru both says and DEMONSTRATES these abilities. How do you think he was suddenly able to break away from his captors? How do you think he could suddenly go 1v1 with the the Demon Lord?? The Demon Lord who had JUST nearly killed most of his captors, all of which were trained veteran fighters who were literally born for the purpose of fighting the Demon Lord. How do you think he ONE SHOT the Demon Lord and then sent himself BACK IN TIME???? Criticism of a fan-fic not being source accurate when it should be is fair but atleast be accurate with the criticism. I wouldn't have even wrote all this if it was just a minor error but this is JoJo fan Part 6 levels of failed reading comprehension.

Imagine someone said you made a spelling mistake on a basic word like "the" throughout your entire book (which you didn't), said it's actually spelt like "wixndthesi" and then they left a review starting with "did you even finish kindergarten?" Same situation different context

not at all, it's actually the manga that doesn't go into explaining his powers beyond surface level, and I really don't want to go on a rant on how it works so I'll just simplify it, keyaru's power works in two parts, by controlling those two stages he can make his skill [heal] do things it was conventionally made to do, such as you said, disintegrate and or completely changing the body of a person (something the manga has yet to get to) and saying that's the reason he was able to escape because of heal is wrong because he did that ny using the alchemy ability he stole so you're wrong there as well, heal only works on living things. but in the end, I agree that it's my fault to except a fanfic to follow the source material since fanfiction isn't for that purpose

WDYM the manga hasn't caught up to those abilities yet? My primary source is the manga, nearly everything I used for reference was taken from there. Maybe your distributor is out of date? I do partially agree that the manga doesn't go into detail on the abilities, but that's mostly in regards to how the mechanisms behind the ability function, not their effects which have been explained and demonstrated. I was foremost focused on that for this discussion as it seemed most relevant to the topic since the world of mha doesn't have magic/mana or skills which would logically follow that the mechanisms behind the abilities would have to change to still be operational. As for the escape, I was more occupied with how Keyaru got away from his captors in order to face and then defeated the Demon Lord despite being surrounded by hostiles rather than specifically "how did he get out of his restraints?" More to the point, forgive me if I'm wrong, but didn't he get alchemy by using his copy ability? That isn't really a counter point if I've understood it correctly. The core of my argument was that he had more than the basic recovery ability so it seems like we agree. Maybe I misunderstood you, and if I did I apologize. I've been working on my communication skills but still make mistakes from time to time. Giving you credit, while fan-fics are generally meant to in some regard deviate from their source material they can be grouped as being "auxiliary" (meaning in supplement to the original like fleshong the story out), "alternative" (meaning to directly depart/contradic the original like a different timeline), or "speculative" (meaning it's essentially the original story but something is changed to see how it affects the world at large rather than just being a different world all together). As this particular fan-fic is of the more speculative sort, I think your original comment being simplified to "the protagonist has powers he shouldn't" would be fair criticism in this context (on the condition that that's true of course). It's the same as pointing out one of the original cast being massively out of character for no reason would be valid criticism. I don't disagree with the idea of the argument, just the content of the agument. Hope that makes sense. Have a nice day
