because LNH never had permission to post her work, and she had asked many time for them to take it down. She never made any money from LNH. So they basically stole her work. I'm happy now that there is an official English translation that LNH removed their postings. They did a great job translating and I'm grateful for them, but taking it down was absolutely the right thing to do.

Yeah ,I'm agree they did the right thing because after all they did just a fan translating but don't forget the role they played to get this novel famous as it is now... I've never know sth called Under The Oak Tree after LNH and I'm sure a lot of other readers like me... So it's just a waste of their efforts, If the author just take it down like that... I hope they'll get a solution together to cherish each other role and efforts because I really want to continue this story very bad and I don't have the patience to wait from ch 71 until ch 272, I'll lose interest because I already know the events that will happen 😑

No please! LNH had never any bad intentions but it was wrong! It was an illegal translation. I don’t want to start any discussion but as an author this would hurt a lot. So please consider this and just rate the novel to respect the author!

Intent vs impact. Yes they dedicated a lot of time translating, but they did so illegally and without permission. Yes they helped international readers so they could read and fall in love with the story. But the author has been asking for illegal distribution and translations to stop for a while, and she was ignored until know. All you’re doing is further impacting her just because you can’t illegally read and not appreciate the story that you came to love. This review has nothing to do with the story if you truly enjoyed it. You’re actually making it so new readers won’t read it because of this negative read.

they are putting out a chapter a week here, at this rate they will pass where LNH was by the summer. It will be worth the wait. but if you choose not to wait, please don't down vote the book that you enjoyed for so long because you are upset the author wouldn't continue letting people steal from her. also, you can always join Ridi and run it through a translator if you can't wait. LNH left off on book 2, chapter 12. they allow for 1 free chapter a day or it's very affordable to purchase.

Firstly, t's not stealing because paid for the 1st book, 2nd book and Riftan POV. This from one side, from the other side if the author didn't want the LNH to translate the novel he /she should have blocked them in the first chapters... Not until he/she and probably she got the fame from other efforts and throw them away like this... I'm sorry all but this is the truth that you can't accept. She is the creator of the story, she has all the rights to this novel and no one else, so stop spreading your ridiculous thoughts.You know the author is right, you just want to spread hatred because you are bored. If you don't like the novel then don't read it, because obviously you're one of those people who don't even want to support the author even if you are a fan, so absolutely nobody cares if you drop the novel.

Effort in translating ANOTHER person’s work is plagiarism & downright stealing irregardless! I saw ads running in the site as well so they are not doing it for free lol Ask any digital marketing person. Get the permission from the author to do so if you’re a true fan as you strongly claimed. Purchasing a copy & sharing to potential thousands, millions who read it FREE. If that’s not stealing I don’t know what is. The ones who truly support her work are the paying fans & because of this we won’t be getting the side stories as planned. If you can’t pay for it then read it for free on the legal platforms that give out free chapters. Can’t wait? Then it’s up to you right? Some of us work hard to be able to afford & enjoy her work. I don’t suppose you will work for free long term also, yes? So why should the author do so as well? If she earns big bucks that’s her effort & creation. Downvoting cause you’re not motivated to read when it’s not free & you can’t get the latest chapters? Haha. True fans will support her on legal platforms. Those who doesn’t are just entitled freeloaders & thieves. She’s from Korea so of course it’s in her native language. If you support then wait, if not then don’t. Now that the web novel is officially licensed there's no reason for people to continue on with unofficial translations besides why would you even want to continue reading from janky machine trans when proper,offical translations are avaliable? If its about the offical trans being behind the fan ones it will catch up quickly with how they're releasing chapters and if you employ a little patience and consistency you can read everything for free using fastpass.
