This is my second review after getting caught up to chapter 246 which is the latest one at the time of this writing. This review is a spoiler review that is meant to address some of my criticisms and Hope's for Super Necromancer System going forward. I already am fully invested in the story and only want the story to be as good as it can be. The fact that there won't be too much praise in this review is because I've already given it in my last one. This review is meant to be constructive criticism. So if you haven't read it yet, just know that you should and that you shouldn't read anymore of this. If you are a fan or the author John Doever, then please keep reading. One of my problems is that the story seems to be starting to slow down it's pace to an uncomfortably slow degree after the battle for Haven. I understand that there is a lot of scheming going on and a lot that needs to be explained, but that doesn't make it feel better. And I'm worried that this pace will continue after the trial is over. The story leading up to that point moved very swiftly and satisfyingly. And I know that when the scale of a world in a story expands the story can slow down a bit, but I've seen plenty of novels that still managed to move things at a brisk pace despite that. My hope is that what's going on right now is the author setting up the narrative dominos so that they can all fall down swiftly in a row, rather than this being the new normal. As for my hopes, there are a few. I want Aldrich to make the Duds powerful in some way. There are a number of ways he can do this. The author has recently brought up an Editor Alter that can create dantians in people so they can make qi out of ether. If he could find a way to do that for duds, that would be one way. He could also potentially make a dantian for himself. Aldrich does know martial arts so a dantian that enhances his physical capabilities would actually fit him quite well. And who wouldn't want to see a Cultivator Murim Warrior Necromancer Lich? Back to the Duds, he could also make them go through mana baptisms to give them "classes" so to speak. Fler'gan has mentioned that Alter Organs reject mana so perhaps Duds are the only ones who can use mana on earth? That would give them actual value as they could learn multiple skills as opposed to Alters that can only learn the 1 that their Alter organ gives them. Another wish is that the series can get some character artwork. And perhaps you can put it in a bonus chapter in the beginning for everyone to see so that we wouldn't have to go digging through chapter comments to find the artwork that someone worked really hard to make. I'm not naming names but some Webnovelists do that and I cannot fathom why. And that is it for my criticisms and wishes. I hope the author reads this and takes note! If you do read this, also know that you are doing a great job and I wish you nothing but the best in your work!

The pacing is an issue I’m definitely aware of, I tend to naturally be a much slower writer but had to really push myself to write fast in the beginning. I’m trying my best to up the pace lately and I can practically guarantee that right now a lot of things have been set up and ready to really up in pace and intensity, I just need to reach the “trigger point” of the plot

That is very good to know! I can be patient if I know it will pay off. Thank you for replying!
