The grammar is good? I’ve spotted at least 5 errors per chapter.

The grammar errors are extremely minor tbh, mostly going to be a repeated word, misplaced word here and there, etc. though yeah, i agree, errors will be inevitable per chapter because theyre all basically first drafts. this website requires daily updates for works to receive contracts and advertisements and that means it also does not really incentivize proofreading, so basically everyone is throwing out their unedited first drafts. trust me, if i could put out my best work, i would. im probably one of the only authors on this website that's been published traditionally and also have legitimate professional copy editing experience to boot, but there's only so much i can do rushing out 2x chapters a day on top of working 60 hrs a week. thnx for reading tho, hope the errors dont bother you too much!

Sorry, but it’s the little details that matter and while grammar issues are inevitable. There are ways to fix them ahead of time with the use of free/paid applications and add-ons. Grammarly(free to use)is great if you don’t have the time to proofread.

oh totally it does matter, just not for this website. i have to recommend that if you're looking for books with impeccable grammar, you really leave this site because you'll never find them simply by virtue of how this website operates. i actually challenge you to find a single book in the top 100 that has dramatically better grammar than this novel. you won't find it because every book here has made a conscious or unconscious decision to sacrifice quality for quantity. like ive said, ive been published in traditional western fiction journals before with perfect grammar and post-secondary education levels of writing mastery. i consciously choose to not care about that much in exchange for pushing out more content. if this is a deal breaker for you, its totally understandable, just wanted to tell you that you shouldnt expect anything perfect or even remotely approaching it on this website. for that, you might as well go to your local bookstore and pick up a hardcover

Never said I was looking for perfection. I understand that an author can’t fix everything. That’s why I comment and correct errors you and any other author I read make. I want you guys to improve your literacy, which is why I offered you a suggestion to help. If you don’t want to fix the errors I’ve found, that’s on you. Just trying to fix the errors now so that when the novel gets more recognition people won’t complain, but the choice is yours. Why pay for an editor when you have multiple readers willing to do a decent job for free.🤷🏽‍♂️

I’m not complaining, I’m simply trying to be helpful in telling you what to generally expect on this website, of course I appreciate anything readers do but if in the process of pointing out errors you feel yourself disliking the story significantly or getting really annoyed, It just isn’ worth it, plus I wouldnt want you to go through all that trouble either ☺️

It’s not that I don’t like the story, but I don’t people to turn away from a story due to easily preventable errors. Also I suggest not revealing important information just to satisfy a readers curiosity. For example, within the first 30 chapters I already know aliens exist. This imformation could be used to surprise the readers later on.

Also I’ve been using the website for a while now. Me noticing errors, correcting them, and wanting you to do better doesn’t mean I don’t know how this website work.

Even if there are errors they are not that major come on man just enjoy the novel
