This book is such a breath of fresh air! Author really did a great job in creating the supernatural background which is really exciting! The concept is new (at least for me it is). This book got the most unconventional sidekick of the FL! The characters are far from perfect, but that is how it should be, right? The ones we can relate to, not desire over something unreal! The characters are totally relatable except for the villains lol I love how everything developed since the beginning until its current chapter (352) secrets slowly being revealed... and more unique monsters popping out! FL is a strong, independent woman after having gone through a lot. From her experience, it is very understandable why she is who she is. As for ML, well, he would be annoying AF in the beginning but it'll get better as everything has a reason! If anything, he is as much of a victim of his past than just being a complete jerk. The action packed filled chapters where our FL fight the unseen forces are so vivid and descriptive that you would see, hear, feel, every bit of scenes along with the characters.
