Tough admittedly the latest mission is a year long survival in a fallout meets pacific rim ripoff, so it feels sorta easy mode save for the natural disaster level monsters that pop up every now and then that he runs from. Dunno where the original post was, but webnovel is owned by that quidan or something company. If you check at the about pages or do a ctrl-f search in any terms of use m legal pages on the original site of the Chinese websites the story might have come from, then you should be easily able to check if they are from the same company. That said. Who knows if they actually bother to pay royalties to even chinese authors licenced on their other platforms for their translations
