I think it need to be more description. In the sense that this is your world, If you don't explain it for us we won't understand. Firstly is it a school for magic does the girl have magic. In all I think that is the only thing I found lacking in the story. I think that the story has a lot to go and I hope to read more from it

Okay, well how about we give the story a chance to breathe. Maybe the school is magic, maybe it isn't what matters is you want to find out, and that's called storytelling. Create a question for the reader let them follow the story to the answers.
