Review Detail of Wallflower_Monk in After Getting Abandoned, I Choose to Become the General’s Wife

It’s not specifically indicated but I’m assuming from reading the trial that this book is set some time in the 90’s in China. *spoilers ahead: The past life of the FL just doesn’t make that much sense to me in this story. The FL is literally sold by her parents to her husband. She’s never been happily married but luckily her husband never abused her. In the end he does divorce her for a younger woman though. Now here is the part that I don’t understand. In her past life the FL CHOOSES to leave her ex husband with NO MONEY. This, when she has not worked in years since she’s married. So she leaves her marriage broke and with no means to support herself🤦🏽‍♀️. I mean, considering the dude bought her and she was forced to marry a man she didn’t love, the least she could have gotten out of it was money. I feel like her backstory should have been better written out - like maybe her husband refused to give her money and she didn’t have any evidence of his cheating in her past life. It’s just she seems way too intelligent to have done something so stupid. Anyways, I do like the FL when she is reborn. She’s chilled and mature. I also like that this book isn’t about people judging and hating on the FL all the time. It’s just about a woman who moves on from her ex and moves on with her life. She also eventually marries someone new. I also like the ML so far. He’s also mature and an honorable military man. You can tell he’s going to be great support. The FL knew about him in her past life but they never crossed paths and he never got married in that life. I guess they had to meet in rebirth before they both met someone they could fall in love with. **note: some grammatical editing needed in the story. I would still like to read more of this one though 👍🏼.
