D3Kitsune:Dude just because you like another story doesn't mean you should hate on this one. Just because this one has the most votes total does not mean it will be chosen out of trial. It requires the most votes that week. This one has been stuck for so long that is the only reason it has so many votes.

They keep the total number of votes listed even if it doesn't get chosen and this book has been listed for several weeks so the total number of votes has increased, however they only count the votes of that week that a book is being chosen so the people who vote are likely consistent but not necessarily large in number. Does that seem less contradicting?
