The story itself is ok, but I can't for the life of me figure out why people are giving this such high scores? It's an average story, with an average plot, with average character design, and average world-building. Subpar writing that I attribute to bad translations and editing. Overall it's just well, average.

Reisgem:its fine everyone have rights to have your own opinion, but i think i should tell you to dont have such high standards/regards on this website, allmost works on this site are amateurs level even those on contract (im not trying play down this novel here or other authors on this this) u will be often disappointed here with thinking that a 5 star should be here,but this my opinion u are free to ignore it.
Oh, thank god Jo I can finally read it without worrying about an annoying male lead popping out of nowhere.

Humm... I think it's just a different way of looking at things, as you said. To me, a 5-star rating should be one of the best things I've ever read in my life. When I say "it is average" I am in no way disparaging the story nor its author. I apologize to both you and the author for my poor choice of wording.

I think you understood something wrong here, I didn't disagreed him, just told that rating here is too subjective and he should see a 5 star novel with a pinch of salt
