This is a good story. Obvious pros are this is a system novel, a good one at that. Things that might annoy you include, repeated redundant sentences and spelling mistakes. The story seems solid plot-wise so far. Hope to see more of Jack Lyre.

Really sorry about the spelling mistakes, I thought I'd managed to iron most of those out. Some of the repeated sentences were for dramatic effect (like the scene with the scene in the first chapter), but since they didn't really land I won't be doing those so much anymore! I'm really glad you think this is a good system novel, though!
