Well, huhhh...this is my honest opinion for you author. While reading your plot from chapter 1 till 58 (so far), sometimes I wonder if you forgot that the MC is but a background character. If you want to make the MC as the "second protagonist" please make a step by step growth. I mean, many cases in the story just feels to forced by inserting the MC in order to highlight his existence.

Hello, here the chapters fool me, so when you say chapter 58 I don't know if you mean the one that is according to the volume or the enumeration that this page gives you. About your review, the MC is a BACKGROUND CHARACTER, no matter how you see it, the attempt of "protagonism" as you say is what he has said from the beginning, help the heroine and capture targets from the shadows, that's why he is a meddler in many situations. But after vol 1 and vol 2 that can be seen to be ruined, now he takes the reins of things he can do alone. He never asks for help for a reason, what Cid does in the lawless city is Cid's thing. From there on he is a loner, he has the growth you say, but to me a development for a hard head is obtained by pulling teeth, which I won't say, but if this novel has 6k followers it's not because it's a self insert novel like overlord where we can kill people and revive them at will or other ridiculous edgys stuff. If the author kills you here, you're dead!
