you should check out Cujo by watcher in the sky, The guy is a dc fan who knows his stuff and the pacing of the story is good. And he has recently confirmed that cujo is the punisher

Mc is completely a wimp with no experience. I get that author wants to build him up from scratch,charecter and willpower whatever but forgets reading the wimpy charecter in the beginning is a grind. And not that enjoyable. Ill start reading after some chapters are bulked up. Otherwise it too annoying to read the begenning and his choices.
