I love this book! The interactions, the little skirmishes at the inn, the beauty of the spiritual courtyard especially those cute ice cicadas, the sly and amusing Martial Aunt Miao Yue with her sinister machinations, the wholesome little exchanges between Jiang Lan and Ao Longyu.... these never fail to amuse me. I love and have enjoyed every little aspect that makes it all the more wholesome. Jiang Lan doesn't speak much but his brevity makes his words have a certain flair... a mysterious sobriety in it that none can ignore. He is definitely not simple. I mean, how can anyone who gains a 20 years of epiphany from just hearing words like, "Junior Brother is otherworldly..", be anything but extraordinary. Wait,.. that's an understatement. This was few of the rare times when the inn owner was genuinely the most dumbfounded in like.. ever. Hahaha... that was just hilarious đđ!! I was very satisfied with how things ended, which is very rare when I read WN. I'm very thankful to the author for letting me experience the extremes of emotions. My days have been very blissful all thanks to you!!
